Kattah launches new MySpace and announces a special guest for the debut album
The band Kattah has counted with the web designer João Duarte, who works with Hangar, Fabio Laguna and Ricardo Primata, to remake their official MySpace layout. The main objective is to stay in contact with the fans showing all the information regarding to the group and their first album entitled “Eyes of Sand” and also the biography, new photos and songs of the band.
In parallel, Kattah has announced the participation of Hamilcar Zeaim as speaker on the track “I Believe” that opens the record “Eyes of Sand”. Descendent of Lebanese, he spoke the following quote: “Do not eat the bread served from someone who will remember you the offer”, which was one of the most symbolic moments of the record.
“Eyes of Sand” is planned to be released in the second semester of this year.

Tribute to Blindagem’s singer
Ivo Rodrigues Jr., Blindagem’s singer, 61 years old, died on April 8th (Thursday) at Hospital das Clínicas, in Curitiba. He suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest due to a cancer.
The funeral will happen as from 9:00 AM at the Teatro Guaíra hall. The funeral procession will leave to Cemitério Municipal at 4:30 PM and the burial will be at 5:00 PM. Ivo was married and had two kids.
Kattah, by its singer Roni Sauaf, has made a tribute to the artist through an official note, as follow:
“We are all very sad for losing a great icon of the scene in Parana. He and his band were responsible for the growing of the rock movement and opened the doors to improve the local scene. Our deepest condolences to the family, friends and fans of this brilliant musician”

Kattah: new single for free download
The band Kattah supported by MS Metal Press, has uploaded the first single “Lebanese Aura” from album “Eyes of Sand” for free download.
The material was registered in São Paulo in the end of 2009 by the producer Fernando Quesada (Shaman). “Now we are almost ready to release the “Eyes of Sand”. In the meantime, we decided to upload a single by our press consulting MS Metal Press which has been supporting us for all this process. I hope that everyone enjoys “Lebanese Aura” since it represents exactly what the album means. I would like to dedicate this song to all our Lebanese brothers that honor their rich culture even having so many problems. Thank you all”, said the singer Roni Sauaf.
“Lebanese Aura” was officially uploaded last March 29th (Monday) on the MS Metal Press website. The file has two versions of Lebanese Aura – one taken from the record “Eyes of Sand” and the other that was edited to be distributed to specialized radio shows.
In parallel, Kattah is negotiating with several labels in Brazil and abroad to release “Eyes of Sand”, that is planned to happen in the end of this first semester.

Kattah: Shaman’s bassist will produce debut album
Fernando Quesada, known in the Brazilian scene as the bassist of the band Shaman, will produce the debut album of the group Kattah entitled “Eyes of Sand”. The record will have ten tracks keeping the artistic direction of the band with a few oriental references.
The producer has already worked with a few artists from different genres of the Brazilian music such as Lipstick, Anima, Kimera, Rock Rocket, Laker (Rap producer), Wizards, Capitão Mamão, NX Zero, Fresno, Fala Mansa, Cabal, Shimaroots, Exaltasamba, amongst many others.
Fernando is one of the owners of Fusão VM&T Studios where he produces, records, mixes and masters the artists. He is also a producer of Thurbo Music label and has received a lot of awards around the country.
According to the singer Roni Sauaf: “We knew Fernando when Shaman passed by Curitiba during their tour. We played on the same stage and became friends since then. So, it was easy to invite him to work with us since he is very experienced in this area. I think that our fans will enjoy that. Salamaleikon!"
“Eyes of Sand” is planned to be released in the second semester this year.
